ToF VL53L1CX USB Module
Single-zone time-of-flight distance sensor with a USB-C interface, built around the ST VL53L1CX — ranging up to 4 m with faster measurements than the first-generation VL53L0X. Its receiving array supports a programmable region of interest: the default 27° field of view can be narrowed or steered off-center from the host, focusing the measurement exactly where you need it. A good fit for obstacle detection and level sensing where 2 m is not enough. Over USB-C the device shows up as a virtual COM port (CDC) and streams readings with a simple protocol — no I²C wiring, MCU code or drivers required. Works with anything that can open a serial port, from a PC to a Raspberry Pi or Jetson.
