Ultrasonic HC-SR04 USB Module

Ultrasonic distance sensor with a USB-C interface, built around the proven HC-SR04 transducer pair: 40 kHz acoustic ranging from 2 cm to 4 m. Because it measures with sound rather than light, it reliably detects glass, clear plastics, liquids and dark or shiny surfaces that optical sensors struggle with. The measurement is unaffected by sunlight or ambient lighting and covers a 4–50° detection cone, with update rates up to 200 Hz at short distances. A simple, robust choice for obstacle detection on AGVs and mobile robots, liquid-level monitoring and parking or presence sensing. Over USB-C the device shows up as a virtual COM port (CDC) and streams readings with a simple protocol — no I²C wiring, MCU code or drivers required. Works with anything that can open a serial port, from a PC to a Raspberry Pi or Jetson.
