ToF VL53L4ED USB
Short-range precision time-of-flight sensor with a USB-C interface, built around the ST VL53L4ED — the harsh-environment variant of the VL53L4CD with chip operation rated for −40…+105 °C. It keeps the narrow 18° field of view, 1 mm linearity and 100 Hz update rate of the VL53L4CD and adds robust outdoor behavior: accurate ranging up to 80 cm under 5 klx of sunlight. Pick it for devices that live outdoors, in vehicles or near heat sources. Over USB-C the device shows up as a virtual COM port (CDC) and streams readings with a simple protocol — no I²C wiring, MCU code or drivers required. Works with anything that can open a serial port, from a PC to a Raspberry Pi or Jetson.
