ToF VL53L8CX USB Module

Multizone time-of-flight sensor with a USB-C interface, built around the ST VL53L8CX — the next generation of the VL53L5CX multizone family, with the same 4×4/8×8 depth map at up to 4 m across a 65° diagonal field of view. The new silicon ranges nearly twice as far under bright sunlight (285 cm at 5 klx versus 170 cm), consumes roughly a third of the power, and works behind dark cover glass — the practical multizone choice for outdoor robots and battery-powered devices. Over USB-C the device shows up as a virtual COM port (CDC) and streams the depth map with a simple protocol — no I²C wiring, MCU code or drivers required. Works with anything that can open a serial port, from a PC to a Raspberry Pi or Jetson.
